selecting knock sensor(870 ecm&355 roller block)
Hi,
I'm trying to figure whichone knock sensor is rightone to my Camaro(880 350 block+hotcam+stampedsteel rockers and -870 ecm)
1st. opinion:Standard Motors ks2t or AC Delco #10456287(-85 vette 350 and tpi f-body 305 uses this one, but both have flat tapet cam&lifters and both uses same esc module)
2nd. opinion:Standard Motors ks7 or AC Delco #10456288(350 rollerblock uses this for example -89 350tpi Camaro and Vette)
Both of those sensors(#10456287& ks7) have ~100kohm resistance.I dont't put any teflontape to sensorthreads, there is already somekind red stuff(i think its threadsealer)at threads.Does this no teflontape make sensor over sensitive?
Ecm is now throwing code 43.If I remember right there is now ks7 knocksensor (1 month old)Did I choose right one???
