i need help i'm confused i have a 1988 trans am GTA and it runs like crap when u first fire it up it takes a few trys to get it to stay running then its fine for about 5min when it warms up the check enine light comes on and it looses all power still runs but idles funny and when you punch it it bogs like its not getting full we ran a computer on it and it said the MAF sensor so we tryed a new one and no difference any help would be great thanks

 

Check fuel pressure. Check the basic tune up things like pulgs, wires, cap, rotor, etc...

Just because a code comes up saying something, doesnt mean that that part is bad. EX: Oxygen Sensor lean code does not mean the oxygen sensor is bad.

Could be any number of things, a coolant temp sensor comes to mind also.
