Tool for removing the timing gear on the crankshaft?

I am going from single to double roller and I need to get that gear off the end of the crank. But it is REALLY on there and I want to know if anyone knows of a specific tool for removing it. Thanks fellas

I've never done it myself, but I have seen it done with a strategic chisel blow - right where the keyway is and the gear has the smallest cross-section.

I thought I just used a gear puller...? Rented from Parts-source (autozone in your neck of the woods)

I'll screw with it today and see what I happens. I don't care if it survives or not, but I don't want to damage anything else.

All I've ever used is a simple pulley puller.

A 2 or 3 jaw puller ought to do it.
