Switched to Carb...fuel pump wiring
Hey all, I recently switched to carb, but I'm having fuel delivery problems. I noticed that I only have a brief burst of gas before the pump shuts off. I'm wondering if I need to do some rewiring to keep the gas pumping through?
(Now I did have problems when I had EFI, but I thought it was related to a major vacuum leak. I could wail on the gas, but I couldn't idle)
My ancient uncle told me it was the fuel pump. So he ran another pump next to my 3 port regulator without touching the stock pump. It seemed to work until I actually took it for a drive and had no gas when taking off. This sounds like a real bad idea to me anyway.
What do you fellas think?

If your oil pressure switch is working, you shouldn't have any problems once the car starts.
