it seems that everytime i give my car a little gas it goes dead on me, its happened 3 times.i do drive a little fast and thats when its been stalling, sometimes after i slow down. i know it can't be because of my driving, they are performance cars.i think it may be the fuel pump, the injectors or the fuel pump relay.my machanic can't find anything wrong with it when i take it to him, i know hes not screwing us over cause hes good friends with my dad. tell me what you think, i would hate to have to save up and buy another car after what i've been through to get it. What could it be?

 

When is the last time the car was checked over and given a good tuneup?

• Fuel pressure
• Plugs and wires
• Cap and rotor
• Check timing
• Fuel filter
• Air filter

 

the guy i bought it from said it does need a tuneup, could that be the problem?

 

Thats where i would start, probably would save you money on gas too, you don't nessacarily have replace everything, just check it over.
