well headers an a 3 inch exhaust would be better ... a bigger TB is a waste for a stock engine

A full 3" exhaust system with good headers is one of the best bolt-on mods you can do. I'd classify the MSD coil in the same category as the bigger TB. Basically just snake oil. The stock coil works just fine. An aftermarket intake base like the Edelbrock Hi-Flo, or the Accel base, along with aftermarket runners such as SLP, Edelbrock, or AS&M's would be an improvement. Porting your stock plenum would go along good with the aftermarket base/runners. Upgrading your cam would be one of the biggest improvements. Of course you'll have to tear back into the motor for that one.
