Head and cam combo

I know this has been discussed a lot but I wanted to get more out of my car and wanted to start tearing into this winter. I figured I will have all winter to finish it. My plans are headers, heads, cam and timing chain, 1.5 roller rockers, and high flow intake and runners. My BIG question is since I have to obide by emissions standards, What cam and head package would be good for seat of the pants power without sacrificing smog bog! Of course I know I would have to get my chip re-tuned from pcmforless for better driveabilty. Also, Should I go with bigger injectors since the motor will breath a lot better. Anyone have comments or maybe a good setup that will make great power. The engine is fairly stock with over 90k on it.

Re: Head and cam combo

Perhaps ask on the TPI board, little more specialization over there for what will work best with the computer.
I think a compxr270HR and some head porting might work well. Slightly larger injectors, hooker coated headers with y-pipe and full 3" exhaust and you're laughing. Oh, with a different intake manifold of course. Perhaps look at the stealthram ? You should be able to do the aforementioned mods for a hair over $1000, and gain.... 50HP say? Probably more. You'd be rocking the proverbial kazbah then.
