visual difference between chamber sizes

I have two sets of heads, one is cast #624 76cc other is a cast# 434 60cc(according to mortec.com)

I looked at both thier chambers, and they seem to be exact copies, I used a contour gauge and the shape is the same?

can you visually tell between smogger chambers and small chambers?

please tell me im not going crazy lol

Yea, you should be able to tell fairly easily. I don't have any pics firsthand, but I know Fast355 or F-bird'88 and sofakingdom have posted some chamber pics before.
IIRC though - the 434's are just more smog junk, exactly like the 624's, and should have the same chamber. That would explain it. I'd guess mortec got a typo?

ok, now that i've got more time...

I may be wrong about those. I did remember the casting number sounded familiar, and sounded like an older smog style.

Fast355 says they're alright though, so take any "good"/"bad" advice with a grain of salt. What you want to know is chamber size, and if they are indeed 305 heads (sounds like they are) then they gotta be smaller.

I had 993 heads that I practiced with, (76cc) then 416's (58cc), and it was fairly obvious on them. I don't think i've got any pictures though...
