talking out TPI IAC valve. NEED HELP
well it seems the throttle body is to close to the IAC valve. I cant get the socket on it at all. how did you guys get yours off. I heard about grinding down the socket but i do not have a grinder or anything I work out of my apartment. what tools do you use.

I remove mine by removing the top runner flange bolts from
the plenum, and gently lift it to disconnect the IAT sensor, TPS
and coolant/vacuum lines. After everything has been disconnected..
Lift the plenum off completely and you'll have access to
your IAC. You could remove the throttle body from the plenum
or leave it on for leverage. I suggest getting a TPI gasket kit
before the process, the IAC will need a new gasket upon install
and most likely the runner gaskets get damaged when removing it.

i removed mine by jsut removing the entire throttle body, its really worth it.
