custom alternator mount help.

I am looking to locate my alternator to the lower passenger side of my engine. and my power steering can stay on the drivers side, perhaps a lower mount as well. I cant seem to find anything that mounts my alternator that way however. I want to run an electric pump to clean up the engine bay, but if I am to run a serpentine belt between just the alternator, P/S, and crank, I need to keep those two accessories low to avoid belt contact with the electric pump correct?

Re: custom alternator mount help.

I been doing my research, I found this across summit for the alternator, looks good to go.

Does this look like the likely candidate for my power steering pump? I cant seem to find either of these part numbers on marches website.

Re: custom alternator mount help.

the alternator pully looks like the MARCH "Mid mount" one that i have on my mechanical pump, it worked well, i would not go any lower. I went with a totally aftermarket power steering setup that mounted a small remote resivour type pump all the way down on the driverside just a tad higher than the crank damper. So everything sits low and clean.

this is a pic that shown the alternator location and the power steering, I cant believe how many times ive posted this same pic in the last month.

and a pic of the power steering setup, its another option, its small and clean and allows you to use more AN hose

i was going to try that power steering bracket you have listed, but i could not get a straight answer on what pump i had, and if the bracket was compatable, and i busted my pulley trying to get it off, and my resivour was all dented up so i just decided to ditch the whole thing.

Re: custom alternator mount help.

Thanks for the pics, This might be too hard to run an electric water pump, because I also have a procharger that needs a spot to run its belt, and I am just afraid I will run into too much confrontation with the water pump.
