loose bolts

I done a 400 CI engine swap and just couldn't get the car to stop detinating. Power was on and off just couldn't get it running right. After pulling it out I found that the torque converter bolts were loose. One was falling out loose, the other was finger tight and the other was tight.
What I want to know is would this mess the bearing up in the motor?

Before you ask this motor and trany cam out of another car together and who would have ever checked those bolts.

Re: loose bolts

Loose TC bolts won't hurt engine internals.
