gas guage
i know there alot of threads about how the guage jumps and all.
but mine just quit today it went to full to half then back to it was just below half,i said to my self that was weird so i got home and cut the car off.then turn the ignition on, the gauge just stop working.
i have a bad feeling its the sending unit but i hope it just the gauge.so any input?
thanks

Re: gas guage
Loosen the screws holding your dash in, and give it a wiggle. If you gauge needle jumps then it's just a loose dash. Mine did that for a while after doing some work on the speedo/cable setup.
If it's not that, then the sender most likely. I don't envy you.

Loose wiring somewhere.
Trace wiring from the gas tank towards your dash. I think the sender wiring goes behind the tank then.... I never continued tracing it.

Re: gas guage
