to clarify for sofa...
the blocks are actually different in that the water jackets are to close the the cylinder walls in a 305 to bore it out to 4". most other parts are interchangable. you can find 350 blocks for less than $500 at most any scrapyard, some will even have a complete pull for around that or a little more. as far as the swap goes, it's a simple as taking out the 305 and putting in the 350, there is no other change.
