battery at 14.75 vdc but engine wont turn over please HELP!!!
Well ,i started my iroc about 5 days ago and it started fine just like it always does and i was organizing my garage a little tonight and decided hey what the heck lets fire up the iroc ,well i got in and turned the key and all it would do is click(starter is engaging but not turnin the engine over) so i swapped the battery out of the womens car thinkin the battery was low on juice from being cold and sittin and same thing just clickin' so i put a volt meter on the battery and it read 14.75 vdc ,then i jacked it up and tapped on the starter a little still nothing ,so then i turned the engine over by hand thinkin maybe the starter somehow got jammed in the flywheel i tried it again and still nothing but clickin' is it possible the starter motor could have took a crap just sitting there? could the power steering pump lock up and keep it from turnin over?is there any fuses or relays that could of burned out?cause' it'll click all day long but it isnt even tryin to turn over at all and the lights dont even dim when tryin to start it,also i recently removed the evac canister could that have anything to do with it?ANY INPUT WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED ,PLEASE HELP !!! THANKS IN ADVANCE

most likely a bad starter or a crappy ground.

Check all your connections. I drove my blazer to work no problems and everything worked perfect, shut it off walked inside for 5 minutes came out and tried to start but just got the clicking noise, Battery was fully charged but found the positive battry cable had corroded thru at the starter end, replaced cable and all is well.
Good luck!
Good luck!

pulled the starter off and cleaned all connections, bench tested the starter everything was fine so i put it back together and it fired right up ,must have been just a bad connection or something ,anyway thanks for the replies guys.
