Re: Trick Flow Top End Kit
i have read that older trickflow heads have had alot of problems such as their old twisted wedge line:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/afte...+twisted+wedge
i have heard that the problem is easy to fix and i have also heard that it has been corrected since then, but i think those issues probably scared alot of sbc guys away from trick flow. i havent seen too many people with them in their signatures either.
i come from the mustang world where trickflow has a great reputation and i initailly looked at those heads for my 350 (that exact kit) but i have since looked toward other brands with relatively unscarred reputations.
do some more searching, there is tons of info out there.

Re: Trick Flow Top End Kit
From what I understand from reading that thread, the problem related to incorrect valvetrain geometry, and not from any design flaw in the heads. If you go by the manufacturers recommendations for rocker arms, and pushrod length, should be golden.
Re: Trick Flow Top End Kit
Recommendations on pushrod length are pretty much worthless. An engine needs the length that it needs. Too many variables exist not to measure for proper length.
