So a 350 fell in my lap
Ya i got a complete non oil burning iroc motor for 100 bux. I decided im gonna be building a insane motor since i got one now. I always wanted a stroker, but orr89iroc made me want one more now since i heard of his hsr 383 idea. I wanna take it one more step and s/c it. Anyways s/c is prolly way down the road. Im gonna be going forged interanls anywhich way.
I just need some good questions asked. Who sells a good complete forged bottom end for my car. I never have done a bottom end build so i need to know what to do and what to be cautious of.
I am thinking of a 10.5 compression. Is that safe for boost? I believe so right on a 383......
My top end, in theory had a set of 195cc heads for my 350 i was going to buy. Should I go larger now? Maybe 205? What is better too for boost iron heads or aluminum?
Wow i feel like such a noob. I throw on a hsr and now i want more. Stupid addiction.

That had to hurt. . .
Oh, you were speaking figuratively.
You need to build the engine for either NA or SC - trying to do one without the other will end up compromising something.
Check the Power Adder forum for details on SC builds.
As always, how much power is enough? Just a little more, of course.
