quadrajet swap?????

i have a brand new 4 barrel quardajet manual carb, and i wanted to se if i can just swap over the electric pieces and choke from my 4 barrel quardajet thats on the car???

You mean swap from your existing computer controlled Q-jet to a non-cc Q-jet?
No, not really. You'd need to swap distributors and also find a way to control your torque converter lockup.
If that's what you're talking about.

The answer would be no.
No provision for mounting the TPS.

Your biggest problem is this part: "San fernando Valley". You need a CC carb to pass smog inspection.

But, if you're trying to fix some problem with your CC carb by using a non-CC carb for a base, it won't work. If you're trying to replace some missing parts from the non-CC carb with parts from the CC carb, the choke is one thing that will work, and probably the idle kick solenoid, but your main problem is still in the first paragraph.
