My Rearend Makes Noise
My Rearend Makes Noise
and I didn't eat anything strange...
I am looking to do a rearend swap. I have a 91 Camaro RS, and I am looking to swap that with the rearend from an LS1 Camaro. I found a guy selling his, but he said he was at the track, and hit the gas, then the rearend started making noise. he thinks its the cursh sleeve (or whatever its called). He told me he would replace that and sell it to me for 350. Someone told me that once a rearend starts making noise, it will always make noise. is that true, or if he fixes the crush sleeve will I be good to go to buy this rearend?
OH, he replaced the gears with 3.73 over the stock 3.42
