hey all,

well my car is doing some wierd things with the oil pressure. The gauge is new because I replaced it with one when I first noticed it. The gauge is a sunpro mechanical the stock one doesn't work. The problem is when I am at full throttle the oil pressure actually drops. And sometimes when I come to a stop light the gauge reads 0 but I give it a little rev and it bumps back up. When I look at the clear line it has a lot of air bubbles in it. The motor has less then 20,000 miles on it. Also when I put in the gauge i didnt replaced the line...

What do you guys think???

 

you need to crack the fitting on the line a little to bleed out the air bubbles...have someone disconnect the coil and crank it over while the line is cracked open till the air bubbles are gone then tighten it back up and reconnect the coil. then see where your at when you start it up.

it actually started doing it with the other gauge but i did a head swap and had the line unhooked then
