can i use a 1 wire on this setup?

can i use a 1 wire on this setup?

alright fellers, i have a 83 z with 89ish serp setup on it.......ive got my car running and driving and am ready to get it off the battery charger, how can i wire up the 89 alternator in the 83 car? or wouldnt a one wire just be the easiest? only problem i can think of id the 1 wire is a bigger alternator and wont fit the brackets

The one-wire alternator would be a big step backwards and it doesn't make enough amps. All you will need is a pigtail plug that goes in the '89 alternator.
If you can get that from the donor car, we can tell you which wires to hook where.
