Well I personally use my subframe connectors, then slide the jack stands under the subframe. For you, you could jack on either side subframe or use the crossmember in the front of the car. You could put your jack stands under the lower control arms on the bushing, or use the sub frames.

You can jack it up by the K-member. It's a big metal piece that goes across the front of the car, just in front of the oil pan. I'd recommend sliding the jack in from one side of the car just in front of a wheel so you have room to move the handle up and down.

It takes me forever to do things cause i hate screwing up...lol...jacking up the car is not even half the battle...still have to figure out how to drain the fuel line on this car, drain radiator (Drain cap somewhere??? err where?), Get the friggin oil pan drain plug off (What the hell...even an air ractchet wont take it off...argg) and replace the fuel filter (where???)...replace thermostat (I have to dissasemble the air intake stuff to get it out, what if i loose soemthing or forget where it goes...scary)
I basically have no idea what im doing and all this "simple" stuff is taking soooooooooooooooooo long to do...I fail

Put the jack on the rear differential, thats where i put it last night when i change my fuel filter.
Also when i changed the oil I jacked the car up on the frame rail behind the front wheel on one side close to where it looks like two frame rails are joined togeather. Anyways when i started lifting with the jack on the spot the left tire dragged inward about 3 inches. I thought mabye cause it was sitting for awhile the suspension was just pulling it back into place...but then after i decided I should jack the car up under the front k member I noticed right infront of where i jacked up the car the fram rail looked a little indented and pinched.
Now i think its a coincidence because i was watching the jack as i was doing this and no damage was being done to anything.
But now I notice the left wheel is slightly bent outwards and pointing off to the left more.
Jacking up on the fram rails shouldn't have cause this....am i right?
Mabye just some play in the steering colum?

The only places I'll jack up the front of a third gen. is the engine crossmember or the lower control arms. Anywhere else, something will bend.
