ok, i fired up my lg4 305 for the first time in a while, having done some work to it and installed a new intake manifoil, its running way to rich, shooting gas out the carb! What screws do i need to play with and which dirction should i be turning to lean out, idle is good, rest is crap. Stock rochester carb.

 

if it is overflowing most likely the accelerator pump is bad or the float is sticking!

 

its ok one of my neigbours came to help me, apperently the choke wasn't set right, and the 2 plate that open, were always staying closed, even when floored. Also one of the vacuum lines for my coil wasn't correctly plugged, i didn't use the correct vacuum pluggin on the carb, thank god he was their, carburaturs are still surprizingle complicated when you have never worked with the hehe. now it seems to be puring like a kitten, needs oil change though, think i have got more gas in my oil than i do oil!!!
