350 TPI Head Swap? Any how-to's?
Picked up a set of 113 aluminum heads from a 90 vette today. Want to swap them on my 89 GTA. Anyone got a link to a How-to or maybe even a good parts list?
I've done a h/c on my 00 vette, but after helping pull the tpi and heads off this 90 vette today, I ain't so confident!
Still need to send the heads in for cleaning and decking (for flat), anything else I should be doing in prep?
Parts on my mind for short list:
New head bolts (are the ones for the vette heads different?) part #?
New head gaskets, fel-pro? part#
New seals for tpi, tb, runners? Part #s?
Anyone using bosch platinum +4s on these cars? They were great on my 90 Jimmy.
Car runs great as is, but should I be thinking about new injectors?
Any info appreciated, thanks! I did a search first but only found onesy/twosy q&a's, hoping someone has something more comprehensive. Guess that makes me an internet mechanic eh?

stay away from any bosch plug especially ones with a + the + just means you wasted more money on crap ac delco plugs are great champion works good to
the head bolts them selfs will be the same for the corvette as it is the same engine in both cars all you are really doing here is changing from a cast head to a aluminum head as i am pretty sure they are the same casting

Do a search for "corvette heads" or "l98 heads" and you'll learn about the 3 major problems you'll run into with these heads.
1. older style intake bolt angle which needs either an aftermarket TPI intake, an 85-86 stock f-body intake or stock corvette intake.
2. no EGR passages so you need an external EGR like the corvettes do.
3. missing a bolt hole for the serpentine accessory bracket system.

Damn I thought this was a straight swap, thanks for the heads up.
