Will these springs fit?

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

Im looking at these springs for my 305, Just to slap on some new springs to replace these 140k orignals. I was looking at the Comp 981s but Im personally worried about the quality of them after seeing some broken ones! eeek! These edelbrocks look nice, the price is right and they say they work with all factory rotators and retainers. Its the stock cam so its nothing crazy.

Is the size right? Im not the best with valve spring sizes. If someome can help me much would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's dicey. It's .015" wider than the norm, and from what i've seen, it's a snug fit already. Plus they aren't terribly aggressive anyway.
I'd just buy the comp 981's. Springs break due to external factors, their quality control is fine.

If you are staying with the stock camshaft, they are more spring than what you need. They will fit the stock spring pockets.

What about these? Better? They are alittle narrow.. Stock is what 1.250?

I would like to get new retainers and get rid of the rotators if I could.

For springs and rotators you cant beat it.
