Type of Oil to use for 78 Z28 block

Car: 1983 Z28 Camaro
Engine: 350 block with original Cross Fire
Transmission: Auto
Type of Oil to use for 78 Z28 block

I have a 1983 Z28, but swapped in a Z 28 1978 block. Stock everything is still on the top side. Should I go with 10/40 weight??
