motor mount quest
i just put a new 350 in my car. is there supposed to be a gap in the motor mount on the driverside? the holes linr up but i was just wondering. the passenger side sits flush so i dunno if its not right or what. im going from a 305-350 im using the 350 mounts on the block, is it just that way cause it came out of a truck? basically will it be ok like that. thanks

There should be a gap between the engine side metal mount and the chassis side metal clamshell. The engine side front & back should rest on the metal tabs sticking out of the chassis side rubber inserts.
