Just drove the car for the first time in 2 months
Been 2 months since the whole slipping transmission problem
Had a shop put a used 700r4 in, then had to pay them to drill a larger hole in the body, then took them a MONTH to install a universal TV cable
Its good enough to where it hits all gears and shifts halfass
Didnt even drive it for 10 minutes and the damn front of the tensioner shot off and the belt melted. I had thought my engine was on fire. Would have been a life saver. Camaros are such a waste of money. They suck hardcore, I am so pissed off right now I want to destroy the world

That sucks man but all cars have problems not just Camaros. Plus I haven't had any problems with my other then when I didnt tighten the alternator bolt and it fell out. You have to rember these cars are 20 some years old.

Man, you are having the same problems as me, except mine is a T/A. Yes they are a fricken waste of money, mainly 3rd gens. These cars suck, they are slow, and POS's. I am trying to sell mine, I have tons of engine mods, completely ported and polshed, headers y-pipe 3" exhaust, and it's S-L-O-W.

Yea, thats right! They're real pieces of $hit. I bought my 84 Z28 for $600. I invested about $14K in the drivetrain, so less than $15K total. I've never had any problems with the car since I installed the new drivetrain and as a bonus, it has kicked the $hit out my brother in law's new 911, that he paid $90k+ for, multiple times. BTW, that includes several twisty roads, not just drag races, although I've whipped his a$$ in a straight line as well.
It's a bad enough blow to his ego that he is actually considering trading in his non turbo 911 for a new turbo model. I guess he doesn't know I'm about to install a new LS crate motor. I guess the a$$ whoopin's will continue for the foreseeable future.
