comp cam roller rocker question

just a quick question i have a set of roller rocker arms that are 1.52. my question is i have a 72 350 bored .30 over with i believe are 327 heads in my camaro right now. will these arms work or will they be to short as i also see there is a 1.60 size...so confused.i have a .488 lift comp cam so i believe my stock rockers arms will not be good enough for that.

Re: comp cam roller rocker question

1.52 rockers are a good replacement . no problem if you use them to replace stock rockers . 1.6 rockers open valves a bit ( a little bit ) more . remember H.S. geometry that you slept through . good luck .

Re: comp cam roller rocker question

my dad keps telling me that those rockers wnt work. h says they were on a 350 that had a circle track cam in it which was way to radical but he says that the pushrds kept rubbing up against the heads. d you believe that it was cause of the cam or maybe I need some longer rckers?

Re: comp cam roller rocker question

It'll depend on whether they're self-aligning rockers or not, and which heads you have.

Re: comp cam roller rocker question

You can tell self-aligning rockers from non self-aligning ones by looking at the tips. Self-aligning rockers will have "ears" on them that go on either side of the valvestem.
