Drop Base Air Cleaner Question

So i have one currently on my car. Last year I bought a cowl hood and no longer need it. Switching to a regular air cleaner...I understand I'll get more airflow but will it be a noticable increase in power?

What are you using to notice it? Butt dyno? Time slip?
