Vacuum hose routing
Finishing off top end reassemble on 86 5.7 GTA TPI. EGR Solenoid has a connector for a vacuum line to clip in. I can't figure out where that hose comes from (not finding anything obvious). The solenoid has the hoses for the EGR valve the throttle body. Where does the missing hose rout from?

Re: Vacuum hose routing
One goes from the solenoid to the bottom of the throttle body, as you said. The other goes from the solenoid to the EGR valve.

Re: Vacuum hose routing
OK- thanks. I've got that. There appears to be a 3rd connection on the "back" of the solenoid, next to the electrical connector. I'm assuming this is vacuum-in. Wondering where it routs from.

Re: Vacuum hose routing
Blow in both of the hoses. To the egr solenoid with the car off. One hose you blow into will go out the "vent" (a small port with sponge like element on the end). That is the one that connects to the egr valve. The other port you blow into won't go anywhere. That hose goes to the throttle body. Hope this helps.
