Car Won't Start, Distributor?
OK, I just bought a 1988 IROC-Z with the L98. Car turns over but won't start. Its currently in the autozone parking lot.(That story and dilemma is in the South/Central Regional Forum)
A guy came by and used a screw driver to check for spark while cranking. UNplugged the plug wire at the cylinder, nothing. So assuming thats a correct method of checking for spark, whats the most likely problem? The car had been sitting awhile, the seller claimed it started up three months ago (doubt it though).
So whenever I can get the car home, what should I do first?

Check the ignition coil... i just had to replace mine and that was the same problem i had.
