Two valve covers with a side of tapioca

So we're investigating a head gasket problem. Took off all the wires and the plenum. Knew there was gunna be gunk in the engine somewhere but when I removed my valve covers look what i saw.

No it's not pretty so yea, this is what i'm dealing with.

Your links aren't working. There's an extra "http://" in them, but I copied and pasted the rest of the URL and it still didn't work.

Doesn't sound good though ...

Re: Two valve covers with a side of tapioca

Yep, sounds like a head gasket or intake gasket problem alright. Any questions on this thread, or just showing off grossy-ness?

Re: Two valve covers with a side of tapioca

YOu're correct, we're seeing if its the intake gasket (hopefully), and if it's a head problem, we're gunna just look for a good condition running used 350 block. An no questions this time around i know exactly what im up against, just seein if anyone else has ever seen their baby so nasty lol

Re: Two valve covers with a side of tapioca

Took the valve covers off my LB9 with a cracked head and 120K when I did my engine swap and they looked NOTHING like that. They had some "gunk" in them, but that looks like straight-up baby puke.
