1986 TransAm with 87' 350, problem with injectors.

I have a buddy who has an 86' TransAm that had a 350 transplanted in it from an '87. The Problem is that only the passenger side of the engine is getting fuel. I checked the connectors for the injectors on the driver side and none of them are getting power. I put the test light on each injector plug on the passenger side and get a rapid flash. I traced the harness all the way to the computer. Could the computer go bad in such a way that only one bank of injectors would work. The engine is multiport fuel injected. There is also fuel getting to the injectors, just no signal from the ECU. I ended up pulling loose all of the injector plugs on the driver side with no change in the way the engine was running. The same can't be said for the other side. It began to stall as soon as I removed one of the plugs for that side. I'm suprised that it will even run on 4 cylinders.

There are two fuses for the injectors. One fuse for the passenger side and the other for the driver side. Check that the fuse is not blown.

Are the fuses for the injectors located in the fuse panel that is on the driver side under the dash or is there another fuse panel located in the engine compartment?

Ok, I found an illustrated drawing of the fuse panel but the two fuses that I am looking for don't seem to exist. The arrows for fuel inj. 1 and 2 both seem to be pointing at one fuse.

The above link is to the illustration.

Ok, After relaying the information to my buddy, he found out that the fuse for the driver side of the engine was missing. So, he got a fuse and put it in and all 8 cylinders fire now. Thanks "TPeye" for the info that you gave. Much appreciated.
