stupid question

can i put my 89 TPI intake manifold on pre 86 heads?


or if i cant do that can i put 89 heads on a pre 86 block


please give me some insight thx

Yes. As long as it's close to the same displacement.
(350 heads won't work on a 283 etc.)

You can use just the intake by oleongating the bolt holes. If you want to use heads too they should bolt right up, and with no mods to the intake. Make sure of combustion chamber size, compression, and flow. Everything else is straight forward.

The only stupid question is the one not asked.
