head recomendations
head recomendations
the time has come to finish assembeling my new motor and need some diffrent heads. i have 2 sets right now but neither are going to flow for this motor. currently have 14014416 58cc 305 heads and 354434 60cc 1.72"/1.50. im needing something that will flow above 5k rpm. was thinking about having the 434 ported out but im still not thinking they will flow that good. any help would be apreciated.
thanks,
chris

Re: head recomendations
I use the 416 heads
have someone cut the intake seats to 1.94
hog the bowls and smooth them out and you will be happy
and you can say that you have stock 305 heads when you are asking for car lenths

Careful with the "hog" thing. You want to smooth them out, not significantly change the flow path.
