camaro dies out please heLP!!

i have pasted in a video of my problem, and i sort of narrate it and explain the problem. in the vid i mention a coroded battery to starter cable, but i have replaced it and it doesn't help. ignore that. watch the end of the vid, of the car dying please.
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoID=39766078
when the car is in gear, and i tap the gas (goose) it, the car responds normally, and instead of going back to idle, it dies. shuts off completely.
reverse, drive, ect it happens, slow speeds, 25 mph, it will just die if i goose it.
right now i have the idle rpm turned up higher than usual, and it will almost die... then stay alive. but thats only a band aid. how do i fix this??

I had a similar problem on my 86Z with the rochester 4 barrel. Something to do with the float at least that's what the mechanic said. May want to check the carb forum.
