Oil Fiter Adapter

Seems either the machine shop (or me) lost the original oil fiter adapter for my 400 SBC. I know it may be a silly Q, but I want to make sure I order the right one from Summit - do I need a "bypass" style one or not?

I was looking at part# SES-3-60-08-900 Says it fits SBC from '68-'86....
