best way to clean ground terminals???

Engine: V6 2.8 multi-port and V8 5.0 FI
Transmission: 5-Speed and Automatic
Axle/Gears: no idea
best way to clean ground terminals???

i think i may be having ground problems


to narrow it down i want to clean behind the cylinder head and where the negative cable bolts int front of the engine block

but clean it with what? i can see oil deposit on the engine block of 20yrs of use and the cylinder head is a pain to get to with so many wire harnesses in the way but i want to spray taht down with something and take a wire brush to it


any suggetions?

Sandpaper works for me. I moved my ground connections from the back of the head to under the left rear fuel rail bolt. Much easier to get to.

just what i was thinking.. some solvent and a wire brush and go to town.

you can d/c the wires too if they get in the way.. shouldn't be too hard to re-connect um, gl

Wd40 and sandpaper is what i use.
