A little help please.
OK I have quite a predicament here. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. I bought a camaro about a year ago and it ran when I bought it and then it went down hill FAST! I am currently trying to remove the engine but I am at an apartment complex and I am not supposed to work on cars here nor in my new place which I am moving to in December. The engine is shot it was knocking smoking leaking missing just a mess so I figure that it will cost more to fix it than to just put a new engine in in. Well ANYWAY does anyone (near Norfolk) have a engine crane or some thing like that that I can use to pull the engine and also can anyone tell me how to do it lol. My plan right now is to just tear it down piece by piece until I get to just about the bare block at which point I should be able to figure out how to unbolt it from the car. Also maybe if anyone has a garage or anyspace that I can rent until the engine is replaced (I know that is asking an aweful lot) that would help out tremendously. Thank you all for looking.

dont live anywhere close to you but heres a little advise ,i use to live in an apt where i could do no work ,but this is what i did . take a couple hours pull heads ,intake, water pump all drive acc. undo exhaust manifold and conv . you can hide this if you dont pull off the hood ,then get a short 4 ft chain and one buddy but grab a side and set it on fender very simple then take oil pan off got o car wash clean real good then bring it home put it in the kitchen that what i did and got away with it if you want it bad enough it will come try it and see long live real racers.bigzeke355bird
