1 cylinder not fireing correctly

... obviously 1 cylinder not fireing correctly... from what ive heard its thought to be the comp going bad... what is new is. plugs, all but 2 wires, fuel pump/filter. injectors are good, and all valves have compression.....

anyone else have any ideas what might be wrong?

Bad wire
Cracked post on distributor cap

I'm having the same issue at the moment. I used a timing light to figure out that cylinder 2 has an occassional miss. I haven't figured out why yet.

The computer has no idea which cylinder is firing at any given time, so it's not your problem.

i would start out with a bad plug. change them all. Theyre cheap, and its most likely your problem

Check these first. I was once running with only 5 cylinders because of these problems. All on different cylinders too.
