Getting ready 4 first time at the track

Im getting ready to take my car to the track 4 the first time and i was just wonderin about what rpm range i should set my shift light to for the best times? ,cause i know tpi kinda drops off after about 4500rpm or so,but considering my mods in my sig about what rpm range should i shift at?,any help would be appreciated,thanks in advance.

Its really hard to say but I would shoot for 5k and work from there, if the car falls off before 5k then on the next race try 4500. If it is still pulling good go up a few hundred. The key is to shift at the same rpm in every gear then look at the time slip between runs to see what changed.
