I've got a 305 z28 carbed motor. Right now it's fairly weak and I'm looking for a fairly cheap way to wake it up. Not looking for a lot, maybe to get my hp numbers up from the stock 150 towards 200. Any ideas?

Headers and exhaust.

sry, forgot to mention, I already have a full exhaust on it. idk how good it is as far as flow, but it does sound good, so I don't exactly want to attack the exhaust yet.

What headers do you have?

idk really. exhaust was done by the previous owner. could be headers, could be manifolds. Any you would suggest?

Do you have a visual emissions inspection where you live?

I'm in Alabama. Most of us can't even spell emissions.

If you've got manifolds now, have a look at the Hooker 2055s.

bigger cam or after market set of heads or port and polish your heads you have now not sure if that is what you wanted to do but it will help out alot
