92 camaro with 408 help

92 camaro rs with sb 408 want turn pass 6,000 rpm something is killing my ignition i have a msd 6al and distribution durg herburt HER8551 car surpose to turn 7,000 rpm

Are you sure it's the ignition. The cam, carb and intake have to flow enough too. I have just an accell distributor, and I have been to 6,500 a couple times. Everything has to work together. What is the rest of the combo?

vitor jr intake, 567 doug herbert solid cam 603 with 1.6 rockers, holley hp 850 dp cab.

when the car rpm get to 6,000 fill like it quit firing, then pop real loud like it just started firing again because of the gas in the cylinder

lol... check the white pill plugged into your msd 6al... fifty bucks it says 6000... it's the rev limiter... change to what ever fits your needs
