1988 camaro check engine light

i was talking to morley about my 1988 camaro 2.8 that was reading code 32 for the egr solenoid and lost my user name and password so had to join again. ok i replaced the egr vacuum solenoid and the check engine light didnt come on entill yesterday again and its reading code 32 again. so should i just replace the egr solenoid? thanks april

i am sorry i mean should i buy the egr valve and see if thats it since it wasnt the egr vaccuum solenoid. thanks april

I'm not sure if the 2.8L ECM works the same as the V8s, but I believe the V8 ECMs will command the EGR and expect the MAP to drop. If it doesn't drop it'll trip a code. You might need to remove the intake and clean the exhaust crossover. Hope this helps.
