Stall after start?
My car has started first time EVERY time as my daily driver for the 18 months I have had it.
This past week though sometimes it will fire up as normal, but when the initial RPM spike comes back down it just stalls. Second start works fine.
Any suggestions of where to start problem solving would be GREATLY appreicated
PS - So far seems to be only when re-starting a HOT engine.
Thanks in advance

Check the TBI injectors for leaking that could possibly be slightly flooding the motor after a warm shutdown. Hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the rail if this is an option.....if it's a fuel pressure-related issue, it could tell you a lot.
I'd also check and clean your IAC valve.
Check for small vacuum leaks.
Check base ignition timing.
Check base warm idle speed.
Lots of possibilities and not every motor reacts the same even when the problem is. Check the simple things first and work your way forward. Hope this helps.
