im rebuilding a 305, stock heads(self port and polish), not sure what rockers, not sure what cam (thinking a thumper closest to .300 lift as possible) or intake(wanting idle-5500, thinking edelbrock ram-air gap), edelbrock 600cfm carb (opened up taking the plate off and electronic choke), flowtech headers and y pipe, flowmaster 80, no cat. All backed by a th300 and not sure what stall. have stock v6 rearend. what kind of cam and intake would be best? it will be my daily driver and weekend warrior. What kind of numbers would i make and what is an estimated 1/4 mile? 14sec? with this could i get into the high 13's? i know these questions get asked way to many times, im a converted import guy. Would it hold up to NO2? Thanks for you two cents.
