Swapping Transmissions on a 3.4
I have a 94 camaro with a 3.4 and a T5 and it's wrecked. I found another car just like mine with a 3.4 and an automatic that has gone out. I was wondering what kind of work would go into putting the 5 speed in the car with the automatic or could i use a 700R4 off of a 305 if i swapped the bellhousing. Any help is appreciated.

there are many threads in the transmission and driveline pages that detail this (though yours will be a little different being a 4th gen), but with your "donor" car this swap should be fairly painless. As for the auto from a 305, the trans case and bell housing is one piece and would require extensive mods to do what your thinking. good luck
