My starter is covered in oil (making it hard to start sometimes) and oil is dripping off the pass side of my oil pan. I checked the valve cover gaskets and oil sending unit and they look fine. The intake manifold is dry too. Does anyone have any ideas.

Thanks
Abraham

Have you got a bolt in the hole in the front of the block where the smog pump used to mount?

Re: mystery oil leak
Put a bolt with thread sealer into the lower hole. Make sure it's short so it doesn't interfere with the fuel pump drive.

The bolt should be in the upper hole. The lower goes to open air.
