EGR won't fit!!!???

I replaced my stock intake/carb with Edelbrock units, now the EGR won't fit, it interferes with the carb on the pass. side. Does anyone have experience with this? Is there a different EGR that will work? Any help is much appreciated!

Re: EGR won't fit!!!???

Is that the only solution? Can I find one of those at Summit?

It seems strange to me that Edelbrock would design an EGR compatible manifold that interferes with its own carb. But then, it's a strange world...

I would call and ask them. I think they figured anyone still wanting to use the EGR valve would be using the stock QJet, since any other carb would not be technically emissions legal, even with a functional EGR valve.

That spacer would work perfectly. Of course, the spacer is $50 on clearance, and the block-off plate is 12.95.

Thanks for the help guys, now at least I know my options!

Re: EGR won't fit!!!???

I have the Edelbrock EGR adaptor, if you want it you can have it really cheap. If you need to go through emissions testing or visual checks, blocking off the EGR is not an okay solution.
