so as metioned in my other post i got a parts car today. the camaro I drive has a crap 2.8 in it, the parts car has a carbed 305. heres the question-how large a task is it to track down parts for/convert a carbed 305 into a FI 305?I know Ill need suspension and rear end upgrades as well as an FI intake with management, but how hard are these parts to get for reasonable prices in good condition? anything else I need to know about? It will be a long project due to time and money problems, but i seriously plan on doing it.

 

Seems you're not needing the V8 to run anytime soon, and since you say you're gonna save up your money, you may as well plan on:
a) getting a FI donor car or
b) getting an LSx or
c) getting a running FI car
